Boiling Point Is Not What You Think It Is!

Under normal conditions vehicles generally run up to 80°C / 176°F - but not up hills on a hot day or stop start in city traffic.  When an engine is operating continually above its normal running temperature, the coolants heat quenching process (nucleate boiling) is reduced or stoped. The coolant itself is kept away from the hot metal surface of the engines internal water jacket by a layer of vapour called a ‘vapour blanket’. When vapour blanketing occurs, the hot metal surface becomes insulated from the surrounding liquid coolant, thus significantly elevating the engine temperature.  After this happens the temperature gauge will have gone past normal and will be heading towards the red.  Whilst the cooling system may not have reached full boil it is compromised and is no longer operating effectively. When this happens pulling over to the side of the road and waiting for the engine to cool down is usually your only option.

Does this sound familiar? We can give you at least one reason why this is happening.

If You Are Using Water In Your Cooling System..

This Is Your Real Boiling Point...

Fact: In a no or low pressure vintage or classic cooling system water has a boiling point of 100°C / 212°F.

However…

Whilst the boiling point of water is 100°C /212°Fin a no pressure vintage cooling system, the vapour blanketing will start to occur at around90°C. After which the cooling system is no longer operating effectively. And the engine temperature will continue to rise until it reaches full boil.

If You Are Using 50/50 Water and Glycol Coolant In Your Cooling System….. This Is Your Real Boiling Point.

Fact: In a no or low pressure vintage or classic car cooling system 50/50 water and glycol has a boiling point of 104°C / 218°F.

However…

Whilst the boiling point of 50/50 water and glycol is 104°C in a no or low pressure vintage cooling system, the vapour blanketing will start to occur at around 95°C. After which the cooling system is no longer operating effectively. And the engine temperature will continue to rise until it reaches full boil.

We Can Prevent Engine Overheating!

Fact: In a any automotive cooling system:

OUR S.M.A.R.T COOLANT WILL NEVER BOIL OR OVERHEAT!

Even if your engine is continually operating under demanding conditions in high ambient temperatures, Our Super S.M.A.R.T Waterless Coolant can maintain a vapour free liquid to metal contact at all coolant temperatures and engine loads. The heat quenching process is never diminished or reduced by vapour blanketing. Subsequently the metal surface of the engines cooling system never become insulated from the surrounding liquid coolant, and the normal engine operating temperature is never exceeded. This unique coolant is suitable for all water cooled engines regardless of make, model or age.

Our coolant offers more than just improved corrosion proofing for your cooling system.

It’s as close as a coolant can come to being totally corrosion-proof.

The corrosion-proofing comes about because of our unmatched double action protection:

The two parts of this unique corrosion protection are:

The Waterless Technology - Eliminate the water and you eliminate

the catalyst for erosion and corrosion

Long Life Organic Carboxylate Corrosion Inhibitor System….

Exceeding AS 2108.2004 Coolant Corrosion Testing.

Double Action Corrosion Protection Technology Means:

No Cooling System Pressure

No Catalyse for corrosion or erosion

Stop cylinder liner cavitations and erosion

Eliminates cooling system scaling

Stops Electrolysis

TESTED IN EXTREME MOTORSPORT CONDITIONS!
